Wow! Asteroid Sar2667's Earth impact seen over France and Germany

Small asteroid Sar2667 impacted Earth hours after being discovered by Kristian Sarnecki using the Konkoly Observatory's Piszkéstető Station in Hungary. It safely burned up in the atmosphere, providing fireworks to skywatchers in France and Germany.
