Four kids on their bikes took to the streets of their California neighborhood to help police find an elderly woman who suffers from dementia after she went missing from her care facility, drawing comparisons to the child sleuths from the 1980s cult classic, 'The Goonies.'

The children, ages 11 and under, jumped into action after hearing cops in a helicopter announcing that the 97-year-old woman had gone missing in Roseville on Monday.

Glennetta Belford, who had been last seen around 4.15pm, suffers from dementia, is mostly nonverbal and tends to hide, or hunker down, according to the Roseville Police Department.
