Sun erupts with X1 and M flares on Easter Sunday

Emerging sunspots AR2993 and AR2994 blasted M-class and X1 class flares on April 17, 2022. NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory captured footage of the eruptions in multiple wavelengths.
