SpaceX deploys the Instelsat 40e satellite with NASA TEMPO in amazing view from space

SpaceX successfully deployed the Instelsat 40e communcations satellite from a Falcon 9 rocket upper stage on April 7, 2023. The satellite is also carrying NASA's Tropospheric Emissions: Monitoring of Pollution instrument. Watch the launch: https://www.space.com/spacex-intelsat-satellite-nasa-tempo-experiment-launch

The Tropospheric Emissions: Monitoring of Pollution instrument (TEMPO) "will measure pollution of North America, from Mexico City to the Canadian oil sands, and from the Atlantic to the Pacific hourly and at high spatial resolution," according to the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory and NASA.
