Description

The ESA/NASA Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) captured comet Comet 96P/Machholz latest flyby of the Sun from Jan. 29 to Feb. 2, 2023. See a time-lapse of the footage here. May have 'alien' origin: https://www.space.com/comet-machholz1-approaches-sun-sixth-time

The comet estimated to be about 6.4 km (4.0 mi) in diameter.
