See asteroid named after Jackie Robinson orbit the sun in 5-year time-lapse animation

4319 Jackierobinson was named after the 1st African American to play in the modern era of Major League Baseball. The asteroid, originally designated 1981 ER14, was discovered on Mar. 1, 1981 by "S. J. Bus at Siding Spring in the course of the U.K. Schmidt-Caltech Asteroid Survey," according to NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
