Potential 'Earth-like' planet discovered in star's habitable zone, 35 light-years away

The L 98-59 star system is host to several planets, one that is half the mass of Venus, an ocean world and another that "may have an atmosphere that could protect and support life," according to astronomer María Rosa Zapatero Osorio from the Centre for Astrobiology in Madrid, Spain.
