NASA's WFIRST mission renamed after the 'Mother of Hubble'

Thomas Zurbuchen, NASA's Associate Administrator for the Science Mission Directorate, announced that the Wide Field Infrared Survey Telescope (WFIRST) is now called the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope after the "Mother of Hubble."
