NASA fires up Artemis moon rocket engine for 550 second test

The Space Launch System rocket's RS-25 engine was fired up on Oct. 17, 2023 for the “final round of certification testing ahead of production of an updated set of the engines," according to NASA. The test occurred at the space agency’s Stennis Space Center.
