Description
The MUSE instrument on ESO’s Very Large Telescope (VLT) monitored asteroid Dimorphos post-NASA DART impact. See the evolution of the debris cloud created by the smash-up over the course of a month; right before impact on Sept. 26 to Oct. 25, 2022. (Video is looped several times).
