Check out Bryce DeWitt's 1966 Paper on superconductors and gravitational drag, and read up on Henry William Wallace's "kinemassic effect", to learn more about the actual physics behind these scientist's early idea to use a rotating mercury plasma to test gravitational drag in a method similar to what NASA did in 2004 with Gravity Probe B.. The story of the TR-3B started in 1998 with Edgar Fouche, who described a rotating mercury plasma that glowed while under test. 3 years later in 2001 Igor Witkowski published his research on the NAZI Project Riesse or Die Glocke, which proposed a similar experimental set-up was used in top secret German Experiments of late World War II. So far our experiments have not found this method worthy, and have moved on from using rotating mercury plasma, to using a rotating liquid light, or a highly energetic polariton condensate, where you squeeze the entangled states on one side of the craft to shift the space-time metric around the craft.
