Description

In newly recovered audio, Apollo 13 commander Jim Lovell said "at least something worked on this flight," in regards to the booster impact experiment that saw their spacecraft’s S-IVB rocket booster hit the moon. Lunar seisometers recorded the 'rocking' of the moon during impact. NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter captured imagery of the impact site.
