Bright as ‘Millions of Suns’ - New Source Discovered in Cosmic Phenomena

The Chandra X-ray Observatory has been used to study an Ultraluminous X-ray (ULX) source in whirlpool galaxy M51. It was determined that a neutron star is the source of this ULX.
